Affiliate disclosure
Some OFFLIVA pages may contain affiliate links. Here's what that means, how commissions work and how we separate commercial relationships from editorial decisions.

What affiliate links are
Some links on OFFLIVA may be affiliate links.
An affiliate link contains tracking information that lets a retailer or service know that a visitor came from OFFLIVA. If you follow one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, OFFLIVA may receive a commission.
Commission
Affiliate commissions are one way OFFLIVA may support the cost of researching, producing, maintaining and improving the site.
A commission is not guaranteed simply because you follow an affiliate link. Whether a purchase qualifies depends on the rules of the relevant affiliate program.
Your price
Using an affiliate link generally does not increase the price you pay.
Prices, availability and retailer terms can change, so always check the final information on the seller's website before purchasing.
Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships do not determine OFFLIVA's editorial conclusions.
We aim to recommend something because it is relevant and useful to the article, not simply because a commission may be available.
We may also link to products, organisations or resources from which OFFLIVA receives no compensation.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Affiliate content and sponsored content are not the same thing.
With an affiliate link, OFFLIVA may earn a commission if a reader chooses to make a qualifying purchase.
Sponsored content involves compensation or another commercial arrangement connected directly to the creation or placement of content.
If OFFLIVA publishes sponsored content in the future, it will be identified clearly rather than presented as ordinary independent editorial content.
Product testing
A product appearing in an OFFLIVA article does not automatically mean we have personally used or tested it.
Recommendations may be based on research, specifications, suitability for the activity and other relevant information.
When first-hand testing has genuinely taken place and is relevant to a recommendation, we may say so. We will not describe a product as personally tested when it wasn't.
How affiliate content is labelled
When an article contains affiliate links, we aim to place a clear disclosure where readers can reasonably see it before acting on those links.
The disclosure may explain that OFFLIVA could earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
Our goal is simple: you should be able to tell when a commercial relationship may exist without having to search for that information.
